2000-2005

I made a lot of work during this era.  I am still digging and trying find images from my early years…There were shows in Los Angeles, Detroit, New York, Tokyo, television and movie placements, magazine write ups.  But I was young, naïve, and just making, making, making, and keeping poor records of my work.

The language of this work had a ton to do with a love of the history of painting.  Also my formative years up to now being steeped in skateboarding, punk, graffiti, and every bit of visual culture I was turned on by.  You combine a love of visual language and story telling, with a Psychology degree with a minor in Biblical studies, and a fair amount of psychedelics, and you’ll have a recipe for some strange paintings…..
